ConvertKit pricing

What ConvertKit, now called Kit, costs tier by tier, why the subscriber count drives the bill, and what Creator Pro adds.

ConvertKit, which now trades as Kit, prices by the number of subscribers on your list, with unlimited email sends on every plan. There is a capable free Newsletter plan that runs up to 10,000 subscribers, then two paid tiers, Creator and Creator Pro, that unlock automation and advanced features. The numbers below are for 1,000 subscribers on monthly billing; annual billing trims about 16 percent. Note that Kit raised prices in late 2025, so the old $15 Creator plan no longer exists. Below is each plan as published, then the things that move your real spend.

What moves the real bill

Your subscriber count, and the Pro step, set the bill.

Four things tend to separate Kit's entry price from what creators actually pay. Budget for these before you commit.

Subscribers drive the price. You pay by list size, not emails sent, so growing or not cleaning your list raises the bill. The price climbs in bands, so each milestone matters more than how often you mail.
The free plan has no automation. Newsletter is generous on subscribers but holds back sequences and the visual automation builder, so most creators who automate move to Creator at $39 per month.
Creator versus Creator Pro. Pro roughly doubles the price to add the referral system, advanced reporting and subscriber scoring, so it pays off only if you will use those growth features.
Annual discount and migration. The headline saving needs an annual prepay, and importing an existing list and sequences from another tool takes setup time worth costing in.
Pricing questions

ConvertKit pricing FAQ

Is ConvertKit, now Kit, free?

Yes. The free Newsletter plan supports up to 10,000 subscribers with unlimited landing pages, forms and broadcasts, but no automated sequences. Creators who want automation move to Creator at $39 per month for 1,000 subscribers. Pricing as of June 2026; check the vendor for current pricing.

How much does ConvertKit cost?

At 1,000 subscribers on monthly billing, Creator is about $39 per month and Creator Pro about $79 per month, with annual billing saving roughly 16 percent. Both scale up as your subscriber count grows. Verified June 2026; check the vendor for current pricing.

Why did ConvertKit get more expensive?

Kit, formerly ConvertKit, raised prices in late 2025 and retired the old $15 Creator plan. Current Creator pricing starts at $39 per month at 1,000 subscribers, so longtime users on legacy plans pay less than new signups do.

Is Creator Pro worth it?

Only if you will use what it adds. Creator Pro roughly doubles the Creator price to include the newsletter referral system, advanced reporting and subscriber scoring. For a straightforward newsletter with automation, the standard Creator plan is usually enough.
