Salesmsg pricing

What Salesmsg really costs, how its monthly message credits work, and the seat, number and carrier fees that move the bill.

Salesmsg sells credit based monthly plans built around two way, conversational texting. Each plan includes a pool of message credits, at least one phone number and one user seat, with the entry plan at $25 a month for 500 credits. From there the published tiers step up to 1,000 credits at $49, 2,500 at $99, 5,000 at $179 and 7,500 at $249, before custom pricing for programs over 10,000 messages a month. A 14 day trial gives you 25 credits to test, annual billing saves up to 20 percent, and pay as you go credits are available if your sending is seasonal. The real cost adds extra seats, extra numbers and US registration fees. Below is the model, then the things that move your true spend.

What moves the real bill

Credits, seats, numbers and registration set the bill.

Four things separate the plan sticker from what teams actually pay each month. Model these before you pick a tier.

Credits, then the next tier. Each plan includes a monthly credit pool, from 500 on the entry plan upward, and one credit covers a standard text segment. Once you outgrow a tier you move up rather than pay overage, so matching the tier to your real send volume matters more than the headline price.
Seats and extra numbers. Plans include one seat and one number; additional user seats are $10 a month each and additional phone numbers $5 a month each. A multi rep sales or support team adds these quickly, so count your real seat and number needs into the monthly cost.
Registration and carrier fees. US senders must complete 10DLC brand and campaign registration, which carries one time and recurring carrier fees, and carrier pass through charges apply per message on top of credits, so the all in cost runs above the plan sticker.
Annual billing and pay as you go. Annual billing gives a full year of credits at up to 20 percent off the monthly rate, while pay as you go credits let seasonal senders buy only what they need. Picking the right commitment for your sending pattern changes the effective rate.
