Salesforce pricing

What Salesforce Sales Cloud really costs per user, tier by tier, and the add ons that change the final number.

Salesforce lists a clean ladder of per user prices, but the sticker rarely matches the invoice. Sales Cloud runs from an entry Starter Suite up to Unlimited and a top Agentforce 1 tier, and most mid market teams land on Enterprise. Below we lay out each tier as published, then the storage, AI, sandbox and implementation costs that tend to push real spend well past the per seat figure. Treat the list price as the floor, not the ceiling.

What moves the real bill

The per seat price is the floor, not the bill.

Four things tend to separate the published per user price from what teams actually pay for Salesforce. Budget for these before you sign.

Add on AI and Agentforce. Einstein and Agentforce capabilities are sold as add ons or consumption credits on lower tiers, so AI heavy workflows cost extra on Starter and Pro.
Data and file storage. Orgs include a base storage allotment; large contact databases and attachments push you into paid storage blocks over time.
Sandboxes and environments. Full copy sandboxes for testing and training are limited on lower tiers and priced as add ons, which matters for teams customizing heavily.
Implementation and admin. Salesforce flexibility means setup, integration and ongoing admin work, often via a partner, are a real line item beyond the subscription.
Pricing questions

Salesforce pricing FAQ

Is there a free version of Salesforce?

No. Salesforce does not offer a permanently free Sales Cloud plan. The cheapest paid tier is Starter Suite at $25 per user per month, and a free trial is available so you can test before committing. Pricing as of June 2026; check the vendor for current pricing.

How much does Salesforce cost per user?

Sales Cloud list prices run $25 for Starter Suite, $100 for Pro Suite, $175 for Enterprise and $350 for Unlimited per user per month, billed annually. A top Agentforce 1 Sales tier is about $550. Most mid market teams choose Enterprise. Verified June 2026.

Which Salesforce plan is best value?

For most growing sales teams, Enterprise at $175 hits the balance of automation, customization and API access without jumping to Unlimited. Smaller teams that want core CRM only can start on Starter Suite or Pro Suite and upgrade later.

Does Salesforce charge extra beyond the seat price?

Often, yes. AI add ons, extra data storage, sandboxes and implementation or admin work commonly add to the subscription, so the real cost can run well above the per user figure. Budget for these from the start.
