Notion pricing explained

A generous free plan for individuals, two paid steps per member, and an Enterprise tier priced on request.

Notion blends docs, wikis and databases into one workspace, and its pricing is a clean per member ladder. Free is generous for a single user; Plus at $10 opens real team collaboration with unlimited blocks, file uploads and guests; Business at $20 is where Notion AI now lives, alongside SAML SSO and private teamspaces; and Enterprise is quote based for security and scale. The big shift is that Notion folded its AI into Business in 2025 and retired the separate AI add on. Below are the plans as of June 2026, then a plain look at what moves the cost.

What moves the real bill

What actually moves your bill

Notion's per member rate is simple, but where the AI sits and how guests are counted shape the real cost more than the headline number. The jump from Plus to Business is the one to plan for.

Free, Plus or Business. Free suits one person organizing their own work; Plus at $10 opens unlimited blocks, uploads and guests for a team; Business at $20 adds the AI features, SSO and private teamspaces. The step from Plus to Business doubles the per member rate, so weigh it against how much you will lean on Notion AI.
Notion AI now lives in Business. Notion retired its separate AI add on in 2025 and bundled unlimited AI into Business and Enterprise. If your team wants the Notion Agent, AI Meeting Notes and Enterprise Search, that effectively sets your floor at the $20 Business tier rather than Plus.
Guests are free, members are paid. You pay per member, but external guests invited to specific pages are free. Teams that work with many contractors or clients can keep costs down by adding them as guests rather than full members, as long as they only need page level access.
Annual versus monthly billing. The rates shown are annual. Monthly billing runs higher, so teams that intend to keep Notion usually take the annual commitment to hold the lower per member price. A custom domain for a published site is a separate add on.
Pricing questions

Notion pricing FAQ

Is Notion free?

Notion has a free plan that is generous for individuals, with unlimited pages for a single user, up to ten guests, a trial of Notion AI and seven day page history. For teams, free becomes limited once you add members, which is when most groups move to Plus.

How much is Notion per member?

As of June 2026, Plus is $10 per member per month and Business is $20 per member per month, both billed annually. Monthly billing is higher, and Enterprise is quote based. Check the vendor for current pricing.

Is Notion AI included in the price?

Yes, on the Business and Enterprise tiers. Notion folded its AI into Business in 2025 and retired the separate AI add on, so the Notion Agent, AI Meeting Notes and Enterprise Search come bundled at the $20 Business rate rather than as an extra fee.

What is the difference between Plus and Business?

Plus opens unlimited blocks, file uploads and guests with 30 day history and custom sites. Business adds the bundled Notion AI, SAML SSO, private teamspaces, granular database permissions and 90 day history, and is aimed at growing teams that want AI and tighter access control.
