Flywheel pricing
What Flywheel really costs tier by tier, and why monthly visit caps and site counts, not renewals, decide your bill.
Flywheel is design focused managed WordPress, now owned by WP Engine, and it prices on a clean ladder of four plans set by site count and monthly visits. Unlike most hosts it does not raise prices at renewal, so the intro rate is close to the long run rate, and annual billing trims it further. The figures that move your real bill are how many sites you host, your monthly visit allowance and the fact that email is never included. Below is each plan as published, then the things that move the number.
Plans and prices
Per month, billed monthly or annuallyPricing as of June 2026. Flywheel does not raise prices at renewal, and annual billing saves roughly 20 percent, for example Freelance near $96 a month billed yearly. Plans are WordPress only and email hosting is not included. Check the vendor for current pricing.
Sites, visits and add ons set the real bill.
Flywheel keeps renewals flat, so the levers are different from a budget host. A few things separate the plan price from what you actually pay, so plan for them before you commit.
Flywheel pricing FAQ
How much does Flywheel cost per month?
Flywheel runs $15 for Tiny, $30 for Starter, $115 for Freelance and $290 for Agency per month. Annual billing saves roughly 20 percent and prices do not rise at renewal. Pricing as of June 2026; check the vendor for current pricing.
Does Flywheel raise prices at renewal?
No. Unlike most budget hosts, Flywheel does not use an intro rate that jumps later, so the price you start on is close to what you keep paying. Paying annually lowers the effective monthly rate further, for example Freelance near $96 a month.
What happens if I exceed my Flywheel visit limit?
Each plan includes a monthly visit allowance, and traffic beyond it is billed as an overage or prompts a move to the next tier. Sites with spiky or growing traffic should size the plan to their real visit numbers rather than the cheapest option.
Does Flywheel include email hosting?
No. Flywheel is managed WordPress and does not provide email on any plan, so you add email through a separate provider such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365. Budget for that as a recurring cost on top of hosting. Verified June 2026.
