ClickUp pricing explained
A genuinely useful free tier, three paid steps that climb fast, and an AI add on priced on top of every seat.
ClickUp leads with one of the most generous free plans in project management, then layers four paid steps above it. The first real decision is Free versus Unlimited, because the free plan caps storage at 100MB and throttles dashboards, automation and Gantt views. From there, Business adds heavier automation, advanced dashboards and Google SSO, while Business Plus targets multiple teams. ClickUp Brain, the AI layer, is sold separately per member. Below are all plans as of June 2026, then a plain look at what moves the cost.
Plans and prices
Per member / month, billed annuallyPricing as of June 2026. Monthly billing runs higher at $10 Unlimited, $19 Business and $29 Business Plus; ClickUp Brain AI is an add on at about $9 per member per month; Enterprise is quote based. Check the vendor for current pricing.
What actually moves your bill
The per member price is only part of the story with ClickUp. Three things decide what you really pay, and the AI add on is the one teams forget to budget.
ClickUp pricing FAQ
Is ClickUp free?
Yes. The Free Forever plan covers unlimited tasks and members with Kanban, list and calendar views. It is one of the more generous free plans in project management, but the 100MB total storage cap and limited dashboards, Gantt and automation move most teams to a paid plan as they grow.
How much is ClickUp per user?
As of June 2026, Unlimited is $7 per member per month billed annually, Business is $12 and Business Plus is $19. Monthly billing is higher at $10, $19 and $29. Check the vendor for current pricing.
How much does ClickUp Brain cost?
ClickUp Brain, the AI assistant, is an add on priced at about $9 per member per month as of June 2026. It is not included in the base plans, so a team that wants AI should add it to the per seat cost when budgeting.
Unlimited or Business?
Unlimited suits most small teams with unlimited storage, dashboards and Gantt. Step up to Business for Google SSO, advanced dashboards and the jump from 1,000 to 25,000 monthly automation actions, which matters once workflows get busy.
