Attentive pricing

What to expect from Attentive pricing when there is no public price list, from platform fees to minimum spend and contract lock in.

Attentive does not publish a price list. SMS and MMS rates are set in individual order forms and depend on your volume, the channels you use and how you negotiate, so two brands rarely pay the same. Based on market reports, most brands pay a platform fee in the region of $300 to $500 a month plus per message costs and carrier fees, with recurring minimum commitments on top. It is built for brands with real volume, and the all in cost for a mid market sender commonly lands in the low thousands per month. Below is the structure as best it can be pieced together, then the levers that move your quote.

What moves the real bill

Volume, minimums and contract terms set the bill.

Four things shape an Attentive quote and the all in cost. Understand these before you sit down to negotiate.

Negotiated, not published. Attentive sets SMS and MMS rates in individual order forms, not on a public page, so your price depends on volume, channel mix and how hard you negotiate.
Minimum spend commitments. Plans carry recurring minimums, often about $2,000 to $3,000 a quarter; if your usage falls short you are still invoiced the difference at the end of the term.
Contract length and lock in. Terms typically run 6 to 12 months, sometimes with SMS exclusivity, and leaving early can carry penalties, so flexibility is limited compared with self serve tools.
Add on channels and AI. Email, RCS and AI features layer on top of the SMS base, and carrier fees apply per message, so the all in cost climbs well above the platform fee alone.

Attentive pricing FAQ

How much does Attentive cost?

Attentive does not publish pricing. Market reports put the platform fee around $300 to $500 a month plus per message costs of about $0.01 to $0.025 per SMS, with mid market brands commonly spending $1,500 to $5,000 a month all in. The exact figure is quote based. Pricing as of June 2026; check the vendor for current pricing.

Does Attentive have a free plan?

No. Attentive is quote based with recurring minimum commitments and is aimed at brands that already send real SMS volume. There is no free tier or self serve entry plan. Verified June 2026; check the vendor for current pricing.

Is there a minimum spend with Attentive?

Yes. Plans typically carry a recurring minimum, often about $2,000 to $3,000 a quarter, and if your usage falls below it you are still invoiced the difference. Contracts usually run 6 to 12 months.

Is Attentive worth the price?

For high volume brands, often those sending 20,000 or more messages a month with revenue above $200,000, the managed service and deliverability can justify the cost. Smaller or price sensitive senders usually do better on self serve tools like Klaviyo SMS or Postscript.
