ActiveCampaign pricing

What ActiveCampaign really costs, why the bill rises with your contact list, and the sales features that are paid add ons.

ActiveCampaign is a marketing automation platform with a CRM attached, so its pricing works differently from a seat first sales CRM. There are four tiers, Starter, Plus, Pro and Enterprise, and the headline figures below are for the entry contact tier of about 1,000 contacts. The catch most buyers miss is that the price climbs as your contact list grows, and the deeper sales features, pipeline management, deal records and sales engagement, sit in paid Enhanced CRM add ons rather than the base plan. Seat counts are also capped per tier: Starter and Plus include one user, Pro three and Enterprise five. Below is each plan as published, then the costs that move the real bill.

What moves the real bill

The headline price is the floor, contacts and add ons move the bill.

ActiveCampaign's tiers read simply, but its contact based model and modular add ons separate the entry rate from real spend. Budget for these before you commit.

Contact based pricing. Every tier is priced by the size of your contact list. The headline figures cover about 1,000 contacts, and the monthly bill rises in bands as your audience grows, so a large list can cost well above the entry rate on the same plan.
Enhanced CRM add ons. The deeper sales features, pipeline management, deal and account records, lead scoring and sales engagement, are paid Pipelines and Sales engagement add ons, not part of the base plan, so a true sales CRM setup costs more than the marketing tier alone.
Seat caps per tier. Starter and Plus include one user, Pro three and Enterprise five. Teams that need more seats than their tier allows pay for extra users or move up a plan.
Monthly versus annual. Annual billing carries a discount, so paying month to month runs meaningfully higher per month across every tier. Short term flexibility carries a real premium.
