SignWell pricing, explained

What the plans cost, how the per sender pricing works, and where the real SignWell bill comes from.

SignWell keeps pricing simple with a free plan, a Light plan for individuals and small teams, a Business plan for larger teams, and a custom Enterprise option. Documents are unlimited on every paid plan, so the cost question is really about senders and templates, not signing volume. Below are the current prices, what each tier includes, and the details that move your real cost.

What moves the real bill

What actually drives your SignWell cost

SignWell does not charge per document, so the levers that move your bill are the number of senders, the templates you need and the billing term. These are the details to check before you buy.

Senders, not documents. SignWell prices per sender and includes unlimited documents on every paid plan. Light covers one sender, Business covers three, and each tier adds more senders for a flat monthly fee. Count the people who send, since signers never cost anything.
Additional senders. Above the included seats you pay about $10 a sender a month on Light and about $12 a sender a month on Business, on yearly billing. For a small team this add a sender cost is the main thing that scales your bill, so map your sending headcount before choosing a tier.
Templates. Light includes five templates per sender, while Business removes the template limit entirely. If you reuse many document types, the unlimited templates on Business can be the deciding factor rather than the sender count.
The free plan cap. The free plan allows one sender and three documents a month with one template. It is fine to trial the product, but almost any regular use pushes you to Light, so treat the free tier as an evaluation rather than a long term plan.
Billing term. Yearly billing saves about 20% versus monthly, so Light is about $10 a month annually versus about $12 monthly, and Business about $30 versus about $36. There are no contracts or cancelation fees, so the yearly saving is low risk if you expect to keep the tool.
Pricing questions

SignWell pricing FAQ

Does SignWell charge per document?

No. All paid plans include unlimited documents, and SignWell does not charge by the number of people who sign. The cost is driven by how many senders you have, not how much you send, which makes it predictable for high volume signing.

How much does SignWell cost?

The Light plan is about $10 a month on yearly billing and the Business plan about $30 a month, both with unlimited documents. Monthly billing costs more, around $12 and $36. Enterprise is custom quoted. Check SignWell for current figures.

Does SignWell have a free plan?

Yes. The free plan allows one sender to send three documents a month with one template, plus reminders and notifications. It is best for trialling the product or very light use, since regular signing quickly needs the Light plan.

What is the difference between Light and Business?

Light covers one sender with five templates and unlimited documents. Business covers three senders, removes the template limit and adds advanced preferences and in person signing. Choose Business when you have several senders or need unlimited templates.

How much are extra senders?

Additional senders cost about $10 each a month on Light and about $12 each a month on Business, on yearly billing. Since this per sender fee is the main thing that scales your cost, count your real sending headcount before you commit to a tier.
