RightSignature

A capable signer that no longer sells on its own: RightSignature is now folded into ShareFile.

RightSignature is a clean, capable electronic signer, but the most important thing a buyer needs to know in 2026 is that it is no longer sold as a standalone product. Its maker, ShareFile (Progress), has consolidated RightSignature into the ShareFile platform, and to use its signing you now buy a ShareFile plan. Existing RightSignature accounts continue to work, but new buyers get electronic signature as part of ShareFile, where it starts on the Premium plan and rides on top of secure file sharing and client portals. Judged on its own the signing is solid, with knowledge based authentication and reusable templates. Judged as a purchase, you are buying the whole ShareFile suite, with a three user minimum, not a signer alone.

In one line
RightSignature still signs cleanly, but you can no longer buy it on its own.
What we found

In its favour

+ Clean, straightforward signing with reusable templates
+ Knowledge based authentication included for identity checks
+ Built into ShareFile secure file sharing and client portals
+ Strong compliance support including HIPAA, FINRA and SEC needs
+ Generous signing volume at the account level on paid plans

Held against it

No longer sold as a standalone signer, you buy the ShareFile suite
Electronic signature starts only on the Premium plan
A three user minimum raises the real entry cost
Overkill if you want signing without file sharing and portals
The scorecard

A solid signer, now sold only inside ShareFile

RightSignature scores well on compliance and does the core signing job cleanly. It sits lower overall on value because new buyers must purchase the full ShareFile platform, with a three user minimum, rather than a standalone signer.
