Jimdo Pricing Explained

A free Play plan to try the editor, three website plans for brochure sites, and separate store plans once you need to sell, billed by the year or the month.

Jimdo splits its pricing into two families: website plans and online store plans. The free Play plan publishes a small site on a jimdosite.com subdomain with Jimdo branding, which is a real free tier rather than a trial. The paid website plans, Start, Grow and Unlimited, add a custom domain, more pages and storage, and faster support as you climb. To sell properly you move to a dedicated store plan, Basic, Business or VIP, rather than a website plan. The figures below are the website plans on monthly billing; paying for a 12 or 24 month term lowers the monthly rate. Jimdo leans on its privacy and GDPR posture, which appeals to European users in particular.

What moves the real bill

What to weigh before you pick a Jimdo plan

Jimdo's website prices are clear, but selling and storage decide which tier you actually need, so check these first.

Website plans do not sell. Start, Grow and Unlimited build a brochure site. To run a real shop you switch to a dedicated store plan, Basic, Business or VIP, which are priced separately on top.
Free domain for year one only. The paid website plans include a free domain for the first year. After that it renews at the standard domain rate, billed on top of the plan.
Storage and page caps by tier. The Play plan caps you at five pages and 500 MB, Start at 5 GB, and Grow at 15 GB with up to fifty pages. A larger site is pushed toward Unlimited by the caps, not just the features.
Annual term lowers the rate. The monthly figures are the priciest way to pay. Committing to a 12 or 24 month term drops the effective monthly cost, so price the longer term if you plan to stay.
Store plans priced on top. The online store plans, Basic, Business and VIP, start higher than the matching website plans and add product variants, discounts and more storage for selling.
Pricing questions

Jimdo pricing FAQ

Is Jimdo free?

Yes. The free Play plan publishes a small site of up to five pages on a jimdosite.com subdomain with Jimdo branding and 500 MB of storage. It is a real free tier, not a trial, though it lacks a custom domain.

Which Jimdo plan do I need to sell online?

A dedicated online store plan, Basic, Business or VIP, rather than a website plan. The website plans, Start, Grow and Unlimited, build a brochure site but do not run a full shop.

What is the difference between Start and Grow?

Start gives a custom domain, ad free pages and 5 GB of storage. Grow raises storage to 15 GB, allows up to fifty pages, adds faster support and better SEO tools, and suits a larger brochure site.

Does Jimdo include a domain?

Yes, on the paid website plans, free for the first year. It then renews at the standard domain rate. The free Play plan stays on a jimdosite.com subdomain instead.
