HelloSign pricing, explained
HelloSign is now Dropbox Sign, and its pricing is the Dropbox Sign price list. Here is what the plans cost and where the bill really comes from.
HelloSign was renamed Dropbox Sign after Dropbox acquired it, so when you look at HelloSign pricing you are looking at the Dropbox Sign plans: a free tier, Essentials, Standard and Premium, plus a separately billed signing API. The published prices are clear, but the seat minimum on Standard and the separate API billing catch buyers out. Below are the current prices, the limits that matter, and the line items that move your real cost.

What actually drives your HelloSign cost
The plan price is per user, but the real figure on your invoice depends on seats, the Standard seat minimum, and whether you need the signing API. These are the levers to watch.
HelloSign pricing FAQ
Is HelloSign the same as Dropbox Sign?
Yes. Dropbox acquired HelloSign and renamed it Dropbox Sign. The product, plans and pricing are the same, so HelloSign pricing is simply the Dropbox Sign price list. Older HelloSign links now point to Dropbox Sign.
Does HelloSign have a free plan?
Yes. The free plan allows three signature requests a month for a single sender, with an audit trail and the mobile app. It is fine for occasional signing but not for regular business use.
How much does HelloSign cost?
Essentials is about $15 per user a month billed annually, Standard about $25 per user a month with a two user minimum, and Premium about $40 per user a month. Monthly billing costs more on each tier.
Why is the Standard plan more expensive than it looks?
Standard has a two user minimum, so even a single buyer pays for two seats, roughly $50 a month, to unlock branding and team reporting. If you only need unlimited signing for one person, Essentials is the cheaper path.
Is the signing API included?
No. The signing API is billed separately on its own developer plans. The Essentials, Standard and Premium seats cover the web app, not embedded signing in your own product.
